This CD was recorded in a four hour session on the afternoon of June 25th, 2012 at Transient Sound in Chicago. Larry and I had played together many times, Miles and I had played together many times, but this was the first time the three of us played together. The music was totally improvised. The only things we discussed were time, meter and tempo. There are no “fixes” or overdubs, although there is some editing on several tracks. – Howard
