Time Traveler contains Howard's unique approach to Renaissance music, layering it with his imagination and bringing it back to you.
In addition to 6 improvised compositions in the spirit of the Renaissance- not the "usual" definition of Renaissance music- you will also hear the FIRST-EVER recording of a Telemann Canonic Sonata on two diatonic harmonicas, an expansion of the horizons of the 10-hole instrument. And to cap it off, Howard plays his own sets of variations on Robin and La Follia, two classic 15th & 16th century tunes.
Directions: Take 1 album up to its full length a day, sit with eyes closed, let the music seep into your consciousness, and see where it takes you.
Howard Levy: Steinway piano, Hohner diatonic harmonicas, keyboards, and percussion.
